What are Daily Loss Protection Plus and an account reset?
Modified on Thu, 5 Nov at 8:46 AM
Daily Loss Protection Plus is a paid upgrade that keeps protecting your account after the free Daily Loss Protection has been used. An account reset is a paid way to restore an account that has dropped below its initial balance and keep trading the same day.
Daily Loss Protection Plus
- Trading pauses automatically when your loss for the day reaches 3%.
- It protects you repeatedly, as long as your equity stays above your starting balance.
- It includes one free account reset.
- It is bought for one account (priced by account size). You can get it from the pause window, after checkout, or from the Shop in the app.
Account reset
- Offered in the pause window when your account is below its initial balance.
- A reset restores your starting balance, clears your trading progress and switches Daily Loss Protection back on. Trading resumes after payment.
- Resetting can take up to 10 minutes. You'll see "Account reset" when it is done. If a payment fails, you are not charged.
- If you have Daily Loss Protection Plus with its free reset still unused, you won't see a reset offer — the account is reset for you.
- A reset is different from a restart: a reset restores the same account, a restart gives you a new one.
Which offer will I see?
| Your account | Offer in the pause window |
|---|---|
| At or above initial balance, no DLP Plus | Daily Loss Protection Plus |
| Below initial balance, no free reset | Paid account reset |
| Has DLP Plus with a free reset left | No offer — reset is covered |
You never see both offers at once. Offer prices are shown in the app, and the offer ends when trading resumes.
