How does the Pivex's Trading Challenge work?

Modified on Wed, 29 Jul at 4:44 AM

This answer covers both plans. Jump to the one you are on: Pivex Classic (one-time purchase)  |  Pivex Membership (monthly)

Not sure which you have? Open your dashboard — your accounts are grouped under a Membership tab and a One-time tab.

Pivex Classic

The Pivex Trading Challenge is designed to test your trading discipline, risk management, and profitability in a simulated environment with real-time market data. This guide will walk you through everything from starting your account to passing the challenge.

How to Get Started

Starting your challenge is simple. Follow these steps to set up your new Challenge account:

  1. Visit our website at pivex.com.

  2. Select Your Preferred Account Size that suits your trading goals.

  3. Choose Add-ons like Profit Split Boost (add-ons are optional and are not required to start the Pivex Challenge)

  4. Make Your Payment securely using your preferred method.

  5. Log in to your Pivex Dashboard with the credentials you receive after payment.

  6. Find your MatchTrader credentials on your Accounts page and log in to the platform.

  7. Start Trading! Your challenge officially begins when you place your first trade.

Tip: Before starting trading, take time to familiarize yourself with the MatchTrader platform and review our Trading Academy to sharpen your skills.

Trading Challenge Objectives

To pass the challenge, you must demonstrate consistent and profitable trading by following these rules:

  • Profit Target: Your primary goal is to achieve a 10% profit based on your starting balance.

  • Risk Management: You must stay within the specified daily and overall drawdown limits. To successfully pass the challenge, you must avoid using prohibited trading strategies, as their use will make you ineligible for a funded account.

  • Minimum Trading Days: You must trade for at least 5 days during the challenge.

For a detailed look at these rules, see the examples provided in this article.

What Happens If You Hit The Profit Target?

Once you hit the profit target and follow all the rules:

  • Performance Review: Our team will verify your trading history to ensure all rules and consistency guidelines were met. Account review takes 1-2 business days.

  • Become a Pivex Funded Trader: If your performance is approved, you will be invited to the Funded Trader Stage. You will continue trading with simulated capital and start earning real rewards based on your performance.

Pivex Membership

The challenge itself is identical on Pivex Membership — same profit target, same drawdown limits, same minimum trading days, same consistency rule. What changes is how you pay and how you keep going.

How it works on Membership

  1. You start at a reduced introductory price and begin trading straight away.
  2. Your membership renews on its own cycle, keeping you in the challenge.
  3. If a challenge does not go to plan, your renewal lets you get back in without a fresh purchase — or you can restart sooner if you prefer.
  4. When you qualify and clear KYC, you move to the funded stage and billing stops.

Good to know

  • There is no time limit for qualifying.
  • A membership cannot be paused — cancel it if you want billing to stop.
  • You can hold more than one membership, each billed separately on its own date.
