What happens if I breach a rule on a subscription account?
Modified on Wed, 29 Jul at 5:14 AM
Breaching a rule isn’t the end of the road on a subscription. The breached account can’t progress to funded, but you can jump into a fresh account right away — often at no extra cost.
Your three ways forward
| Option | What it costs | Your billing date |
|---|---|---|
| Activate a saved credit account | Free activation | No change |
| Wait for your next renewal, then activate | Already covered by your subscription | No change |
| Buy a new account now (paid restart) | Standard monthly price | Refreshes to the date of a purchase |
What this means for you
- If you have a saved credit, just activate it from your Membership tab (Inactive filter) — you’re back in a fresh account in seconds, free.
- No credit saved? Your next renewal will grant a new account, or you can restart today if you’d rather not wait.
- A paid restart is charged at the standard monthly price (the intro rate only applies to a first-ever purchase or a cancel win-back), and it resets your renewal date to that day.
- You can keep trading the breached account for practice — you just can’t progress it to funded.

In the app you will see this note on the account: “This account can still be traded until it breaches, but is no longer eligible for upgrade to a funded account.”
